I would love to get the book to read the insights from Richard. I grew up watching Nancy see on TV. She seemed to have a 6th sense. I was a young, beginning sewist and learned a lot of sewing techniques from the show. She taught me so many little things about sewing. I wish I had been luck enough to meet her, but I still feel like she was my friend because I spent so much time with her programs! I live by your fine example as a devoted wife, loving mother, and hard worker of many skills and generous talents. I have several of Nancys books on my shelves. She inspired me to be better and try new things. Nancys shows were the best but it was her sweet nature that I loved. I certainly would like to read Nancys story, because I certainly cared so much about this great teacher. I recently finished a landscape quilt I started in 2012 after watching an episode of Nancys Sewing. There were a lot of ladies there but she was very thoughtful of everyone who she spoke with and so very gentle. I saw Nancy in Washington D.C. I would love to read both books. I was truly saddened by her death and look forward to reading Richards book. Tears of sadness and joy. I have learned so much from her. I was blessed to meet her in Puyallup,WA at the Sewing Expo, as well as at the Sew Expo in Madison, WI. I too have been a teacher all my life. As soon as her show expanded to other PBS stations, I watched and learned ever so much from her. Richard, along with family and friends, share personal stories of the faith, family, and friendships that sustained Nancy. She is an accomplished sewer that wants to advance her craft. Then she helped me stand up. She is truly missed! Be blessed! I began quilting a few years ago and made quilts for all of my grandchildren. I met her at the Sewing Expo in Puyallup, and was amazed at her beauty, kindness, and willingness to talk with people between classes in the hectic atmosphere of the event. Richard Zeman - IMDb She has been an inspiration to me and Im sad that she passed so soon after I discovered her quilting and sewing world! She was a beautiful and inspiring lady. I felt she was so personal in the way she taught us how to sew, quilt and machine embroidered. Still to this day. What a lovely, loving, caring person Nancy was! Ive watched her shows for years and always found them informative and creative. Her book Seams Unlikely was amazing. I am certain she is teaching our Angels how best to make their robes! I was starstruck by her presence, but over time our other meetings made me appreciate her humbleness, talent and kindness. Nancy show on PBS was an inspiration even to an oldd sewer like me. I remember watching Nancy on tv as a child and cant wait to start teaching my granddaughters to sew. I am currently making the 2019 Block of the Month being offered by Nancy Zeiman productions and am so happy to have something tangible to remember her by. If there is ever anything that I want to learn about sewing or quilting I always know I can look it up and see how Nancy does it. I did have the pleasure of meeting her once at a sewing expo in Pittsburgh. Saturday morning watching Sewing with Nancy is a ritual in my house. I would be honored to win the book. Nancy Zieman made even the most difficult of sewing tasks seem within my reach. If my memory serves me correctly, I also attended a class that she taught at that venue. I got to talk with her at the Sewing Expo in Puyallup, WA. I will always admire her. I never had the opportunity to meet her, because I live too far south to make it to any of the quilt shows, etc., but as so many have said, I felt like I knew her because of her warmth that showed through on her programs. While I never got to meet Nancy, like many who watched her show for decades, I felt like I knew her. Thank you for continuing with the Best of Sewing with Nancy. She was such a big part in all of our lives and will always be in our hearts.

Richard holds a degree in preternatural biology and is working on a master's degree part-time. I was amazed that she was so patient and kind in the hectic atmosphere of such a stimulating and busy event. Hello, One might expect that those five years were filled with sadness and painand there was a lot of thatbut in those years Nancy also kept looking and planning for the future. Nancy was always my Idol & I was able to meet her about 5 times; once at her place in Beaver Dam. And you know, I found out I COULD DO THIS, thanks to her. I have learned a great deal over the years from reading Nancys instructional books and watching (and re-watching) the shows. My seams were not straight I could not even cut a piece of material straight and right. The BEST THING was I secured tickets to an Anniversary show in Madison that included her family in the audience.
